Colonel John Stuart Elementary

Weekly Update: June 9th

Dear families,

We are looking forward to our swim trip tomorrow (June 10th) to Cole Harbour Place with our Pre-primary – six students! A big thank you to our volunteers!  We have over 50 chaperones scheduled for tomorrow’s trip making this a Colonel John Stuart community event! Please remember to label all your belongings so we can ensure we get any left behind items back to the owner. Please pack an extra bag for wet clothes. Students will be provided with a granola bar as an after swim snack.

A reminder that we are doing a Community Fridge food drive for the month of June. We hope to give the Fridge a boost for the summer. Donation boxes are outside the school office.

Constable Snow, our school Liaison Officer, will be popping by to visit classes on June 13th.  As well, Friday, June 14th is Field Day. More information will be coming home as Field Day approaches. We appreciate the support of those who signed up to volunteer at our Field Day.

A special thank you to our families for your continued support of our Home and School Walk-athon. We raised over $6300.00 which will support school trips such as the Cole Harbour Swim trip and community events such as the Fall Fest.

Have a great afternoon and we can’t wait to see the students tomorrow!
